I started Rm Additions after working for one of the countries biggest homebuilders for many years and managing the building of hundreds of homes. I was always told by my homeowners that they could not find a contractor who was dependable or affordable to do the work they wanted in their new home. They would often tell me they wish they could have me build their basement or another home project like I did the actual home, that’s when I got the idea to do just that. I left my full time job and founded RM Additions. I started finishing the basements of the homes I built for the builder I worked for, using many of the same contractors that built their actual home. Since then, we have brought on other people into our company and expanded our services to just about anything you could imagine. We hire people with backgrounds in residential homebuilding because they have immense knowledge in construction, first class customer service and communication and many other skills that provide our clients with an unforgettable experience. We continue to grow due to the fact we are able to provide a first class service for a price lower than all of our competitors because we are able to lean on our trade partners that we created relationships with when we were working with the large builders. These trade partners honor the pricing for us that they give the homebuilders which is often time two to three times less expensive than local contractors.
